A simple explanation of what the Private Thoughts website stores in your browser and what it deliberately avoids. This policy does not apply to private content inside the application.

1. Our current approach

The website uses only technologies necessary to operate until you make a consent choice. Google Analytics 4 remains blocked unless you explicitly accept analytics.

We do not use advertising cookies, behavioural profiling, remarketing pixels, Google Signals, advertising identifiers, or cross-site advertising tracking.

2. Optional website analytics

With your consent, Google Analytics 4 helps us understand visits, pages viewed, approximate referral sources, device and browser categories, performance, and interactions. Analytics retention is configured for 14 months. We do not connect website analytics to private app content or use analytics inside the application.

3. Strictly necessary technologies

Our hosting or security infrastructure may use strictly necessary cookies or similar technical mechanisms only when required to deliver the website, prevent abuse, balance traffic, or protect a requested service. These are not used for advertising or behavioural profiling.

4. Third-party content

The website currently avoids embedded advertising and social-media widgets that place tracking cookies. If we later embed third-party content that requires storage or consent, it will remain blocked until you make the relevant choice where required.

5. Your consent choice

The banner offers More options, Essential only, and Accept all. Accepting and rejecting analytics are presented as comparably accessible choices. Your choice is stored locally in the browser for up to 12 months and is requested again sooner if providers, purposes, or categories materially change.

You may withdraw or change analytics consent at any time through the website's cookie settings. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before it.
